zasilanie diody nadawczej IR napieciem ujemnym?

Witam. Mam pytanie dotyczące zasilania diody IR gdyż nie jestem aż tak biegły w elektronice. Mam taki schemat jak w załączniku. Jest to enkoder do galv. Z tego schematu wynika że dioda IR zasilana jest napięciem ujemnym (katoda idzie do masy)czy to jest prawidłowy montaż?Czy można diodę IR (nadawczą) zasilić napięciem ujemnym?(dokładnie -15 V)(jest do tego wykorzystane napięcie stabilizowane).Jakie wartości mogą być rezystorów (2szt przed anodą) i(1szt za katodą)diody nadawczej IR? Rozumiem również że katoda fotodiod odbiorczych idzie do TL084 a anoda do zasilania -15V. Czekam na Waszą pomoc.

Zajrzałem w załącznik ale nie mogę sie tam doszukać schematu, jest co prawda rysunek płytki i troche tulejek ale podejrzewam że nie ułatwi on w ocenie sytuacji komuś kto mógłby pomóc
